Reddam House Bedfordview private school Code of Conduct
Positive discipline is achieved in an informal, yet structured, environment.
This is based on a Disciplinary Code that is signed by students and their parents. This allows students to actively take responsibility for their behaviour.
The Disciplinary Code also acknowledges positive behaviour.
Specialist teachers presenting dynamic and well-prepared lessons ensure students interest, involvement, enhance discipline and participation, thus minimising unruly and disruptive behaviour.
Both teachers and students are treated with respect and dignity in an educational environment without fear.
Reddam House Bedfordview private school Code of Conduct has a ‘no physical’ or ‘verbal abuse’ is tolerated.
School buses – one from the northern suburbs and one from the south of Johannesburg – are available to bring students to school (one way) at a reasonable cost. Please contact our admin office on tel (011) 615-6710 for more details as this service is in great demand and places on the bus must be reserved.

Scholarships and Bursaries at Reddam House Bedfordview
Each year Reddam House College (High School) offers a limited number of scholarships and bursaries to all-rounded students with a track record of excellence in the fields of Academics, Sport and the Arts.
Applications for scholarships and bursaries may be made through the College Principal in March for possible placement in the following year.
All bursaries are granted following an interview and subject to a student successfully passing an entrance examination. The award of bursaries is also subject to funds being available.
Bursary applications are treated confidentially and students will not be aware of having a bursary unless their parents choose to tell them.
The performance of students enjoying the benefits of a bursary or scholarship is reviewed annually and the renewal of such bursary or scholarship is subject to the student maintaining high standards.
